The Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship, previously known as Hamburg City Man, will now take place in Hamburgannually.

As every year, the best triathletes come to Hamburg to compete in the World Championship race. Next to the elite triathletes, 8.000 amateur athletes will also try their best in the strenuous endurance race. They will swim through the Alster and race the circuit set up around the Alster in the city centre. The date for the triathlon 2010 will be some time in July. The exact date is still to be confirmed.

Getting to the HamburgCityMan:

By S-Bahn: (S1 and S3) Station Jungfernstieg
By U-Bahn: (U1 and U2) Station Jungfernstieg

Busses (et al. bus lines 4 and 5) Station Jungfernstieg

Once you arrive at Jungfernstieg, you will be directly next to the Alster.
