Alstervergnügen
24.06.2008, 15:13 Uhr
Sometime in August the popular city festival takes place around the Alster lake in Hamburg. Between the market-square in front of Hamburg’s City Hall and the Lombardsbridge (Lombardsbrücke) you will see many attractions and performances from over 500 notational and international artists, acrobats and athletes. Over Hamburg’s four day summer festival there will of course also be a lot of delicious food.
Four stages (“Rock’n Pop” stage, “Oldies but goldies” stage, a “maritime” stage, “NDR 90,3” stage) with a wide choice of music programme will inspire more than ten thousand visitors from 10 A.M. to midnight every day. Besides the music programme there will be a lot of sports, show and firework for the whole family every day. The every day, at about 10 pm, highlight of the Alstervergnügen is the show of the fireworks. Go to our German site to find out more about the exact dates and specific programme closer to the date.
